I attended Catersource for the first time in four years, and was impressed at how the tradeshow has grown in attendance and exhibitor! Here are a few of the emerging trends I spotted at the show:
Now that the divots have been filled and the golf fans have returned to their respective homes we can finally dish on the Ryder Cup 2016! The main event took place at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska with literally hundreds of other events happening around town. Après Party and Tent Rental had the honor of working with the Professional Golf Association of America on many aspects of the Ryder Cup. Take a look below at the décor selected for the Ryder Cup!
From casual lounge vignettes around Hazeltine to formal dinners at Aria, Après was doing a little bit of everything during the week long golf event!
It's the holidays! Time to dust off those boxes labeled holiday, crank up the themed tunes, and get to decorating! Whether you are a classic red and green kind of person or a holiday peacock decorator, we have something for everyone. Follow along to gain some inspiration for holiday decor that is anything but the classic red and green!
Whether you celebrate Christmas, Kwanzaa, or Hanukkah it's fun to get into the holiday spirit by adding some sparkle and color around the home! Here are two unique ways to decorate your home or table for the holidays!
Everyone likes to be awarded a “Best of” by their peers and customers. It’s a mark of who is truly talented at their craft , excels in customer service, and offers quality product----right?
Many “Best Of” awards are simply given to the company that is able to garner the most clients, employees, friends and family members willing to to submit an on-line vote—as many times as possible. Because many of these sites have no limit as to how many times an individual can enter. Perhaps a better title would be “Best Use of Random Internet Time ”. While their “fans” are on-line, perhaps time would be better spent entering sweepstakes for free Caribbean Cruises, or signing the Bring Back Pudding Pops petition ….
Now, not all Best of Awards are this type of formula. Some are judged by a panel of experts. Others allow only one vote per email address (although this still remains a popularity contest often voted on by employees and family friends and not a true measure of the company’s quality.)
This blog is to serve as an eye-opener for those who believe that “Best Of” truly means just that. Our company has decided to distance ourselves from these types of on-line awards. Instead we encourage recognition given by industry experts , and also to rely on our customers’ thoughtful feedback and reviews. We strive to do better every day, and will no longer solicit our clients and friends in “Best Of” popularity contests.

The bride emporium, the wedding marketplace, wedding stuff galore, whatever you call it, Unveiled Bridal Show is one of a kind! Unveiled Bridal Show takes place twice a year for one day only and the last show of 2016's was just a few weeks ago. Produced by The Wedding Guys, the show ties in all things wedding to one giant marketplace for brides and grooms to learn more about the wedding planning process. Whether its sampling cake, smelling flowers, testing chairs, or drooling over dresses (or tuxes), there is something for everyone.
If you weren't able to make it no hard feelings, we can't show you the whole show but we can show you what Après was doing! I do suggest placing a hold on Feburary 5th, 2017 for the next Unveiled Bridal Show so you won't miss a thing!

When two people come together and decide to get married it is magical! When two colors come together for a wedding its breathtaking. The colors in this love story are Blush and Silver with a lotta lux in there. Held at Orchestra Hall this wedding is nothing short of sheer pefection.
Holding the ceremony on the upper level, which is open to the first level, gave guests a peek at what was coming next. We love how they created a special space for the ceremony with the sheer draping. The use of clear glass centerpieces and decor accessories throught the wedding really made the colors and textures of the liens pop.
Most brides if asked if they wanted to host their wedding where they worked they would say no, a quick and firm no. But let's say your place of employment was not only where you worked, but the family business. And not only the family business but a gorgeous greenhouse, bright and airy and perfect for a wedding reception! This bride made the decision to host her weddig at her family's business and we must say we think it was the best decision, next to working with Apres. ;)
With the breathtaking blue sky and the gorgeous green grass as the backdrop to the ceremony this Minikahda Club Wedding was nothing short of stunning. The ceremony set up was so eye catching with the contrast of the stark white draping, stage, and chairs against the vibrant colors of nature. Following the vows guests made their way indoors to the reception. The signature green and white wall paper played so nicely with the neutral tones of ivory and mocha, with hints of pinks and corals in the fliowers.
