Bring on the Holidays!

It's the holidays! Time to dust off those boxes labeled holiday, crank up the themed tunes, and get to decorating! Whether you are a classic red and green kind of person or a holiday peacock decorator, we have something for everyone. Follow along to gain some inspiration for holiday decor that is anything but the classic red and green!

Whether you celebrate Christmas, Kwanzaa, or Hanukkah it's fun to get into the holiday spirit by adding some sparkle and color around the home! Here are two unique ways to decorate your home or table for the holidays!

Gold and Glitter

French fries and ketchup, Mickey and Minnie, Soup and Salad; combos that were made for each other, just like glitter and gold. No doubt you will be able to find decor to match this theme! Might I suggested some green garland with sparkling leaves or metallic ornaments mixed in or perhaps an entirely gold Christmas tree is more your style. With the many hues of gold it's easy to mix them all together for a monochromatic look. In our showroom we got in on the goodness of gold with this tablescape.

I think the thing that makes this table a real winner is the champagne hued leaves, feathers, and greenery. We brought the Gold Chiavaris in on the holiday fun with a Champagne Sash wrapping the chair in a beautiful bow like manner. The linen is Fawn Organza, beautiful embroidered overlapping circles in subtle metallic threads. The table top is set with the Bronze Starburst Charger, with Prestige Dinner Plates, Galina Salad Plates, Galina Coffee Cup and SaucerBrushed Gold Flatware, and Diva Glassware. All fitting perfectly into the gold theme! The Mocha Satin Napkin brings in some of the darker hues from above. To accent the table our Gold Etched Square Vases support the main centerpiece with Bronze Mercury Votive completing the look. Rent some or all to bring this look into your home!

Holiday Plaid

The great thing about plaid around the holidays is that it instantly warms up a space and we need that in Minnesota! Whether it's on a throw pillow, an ornament, or a snuggly blanket you feel the warmth radiating. It makes you think of winter hikes and cozy trips to the cabin! Interject one of the many patterns of plaid into your home with plaid cups, some festive bows, or my personal favorite plaid pajamas! Apres added North Woods Plaid to the linen family this winter, the perfect holiday linen! The material is a soft fleece with red, black, grey, and white. Underneath the North Woods Plaid is a textured red linen, Red Bengaline. For the table top we have Rattan Chargers, Villa China, Santa Fe Flatware, Scarlet Lido Goblet, Red Satin Napkin, Vina Balloon Goblet, Crystal Flute, and Villa Mug. The Vineyard Crossback Chairs bring in the natural feel of the woods along the antlers used in the centerpiece. The centerpiece is made up of one of our Wood and Metal Cake Stands and Wood Slab, with holiday berries and greens and those antlers! Surrounding the table from above is some green garland with ornaments hanging from it, a holiday crown for the holiday table! The table is set for a cozy holiday dinner with the ones you love!
